Once a Day Book part 10

Okay so bad news and good news: Bad news is that the chapters I read had to take a while to explain everything to give the reader a good understanding of what's going on so I didn't learn that much. Good news is that I did some reading besides the one day I read for a long time and do a blog post about it so it gives me some more content to put in this. So here we go: So the cricket game ended and England won. Then Slartibartfast showed up and went to the field to take the ashes that were going to be given to the England team for winning, saying that it was to save the universe of something, but before he could take them, a bunch of white robots showed up and started hitting red balls that explode on contact (except for when the robots hit them) at the people on the field and there was a huge slaughter (finally the end of this "run on" sentence). And the S.E.P. (Somebody Else's Problem) was Slartibartfast's ship. And can you guess what the ship was shaped like? That's right! An Italian bistro! Because cmon, you know that you wouldn't want to see an Italian Bistro just floating there in the air. You'd rather want to just ignore it like it was, well, somebody else's problem. And when Ford and Arthur got inside the "ship" they saw it was dimly lit and looked like the inside of an Italian Bistro (shocker!). Now this gave me an impression that Slartibartfast was sort of, well, "emo" (you know, like somebody who is over emotional and likes to inflict pain on them self). And if that wasn't enough weirdness, the thing powering this "ship" (if you can even call it that) is a room with a table and robots sitting at it ordering food from a robot waiter (just like in an Italian Bistro). And as Slartibartfast explained later: it's because the numbers of all the different things that happen on a waiters notepad are "impossible numbers" and a bunch of other math stuff that was impossibly complicated and I couldn't understand it. So then Slartibartfast turns on some video and it basically one of those cheep History film (like in school!) about some war between these planets. And this is one of the things that I love about Douglas Adams: During the video Slartibartfast said to not agree to buy anything, because the video was selling something. And the fact that he puts something like this that we would see in something like a website or something like that in a History film is saying that we have evolved to put those things in History films as well as websites and things like that. Well thats it for now so until then, SUPER CLEANER'S SUPER SPONGE NOW ONLY $5.99!!!!
