Okay guys so I finally know what happens after the whole "forty two" thing in from the last post, and it's that Ford and Arthur realize that that since organic life was part of the computer matrix for the making of earth made to compute the Ultimate Question to the Ultimate Answer (which is 42) and that the cavemen were also part of it since they know 42 but they are dying out (big deep breathe because this is a huge run on sentence), that this new earth made by the Magrathians will not last because it won't have the cavemen soon. So Ford remembers that the Ultimate Question was somehow in Arthurs unconscious, that placing scrabble letters down blindfolded would get the Ultimate Question out. So they did this and it instantly started working and boom they got "What do you get when you multiply six by nine?" which can't be right if the answer is 42, but it's a start. Now here's the thing, I think that Douglas Adams, the author, was somehow in a hurry and rushed this ending because it all happened so fast and then boom the end of that chapter (I won't talk about the next and last chapter because it doesn't have any important information, I think it's just a useless chapter but I might be wrong). Now on to the next book. Yep that's right, I'm now reading the next book. And so far Arthur and Ford got out of prehistoric times by doing a classic Ford. Now this is what I call it when Arthur and Ford are in a bad situation without any way of getting out of, and Ford knows about something magical and weird that they use to get out of whatever situation they might find themselves in. This time it was an "Eddie" in the space time continuum, or, in this case, a fast moving couch that took them forward in time to a cricket field (you know cricket. That game British people play. Ahhhh the brits). Now I love classic Fords because they are so funny. Why? Well because Arthur always (always) doesn't know what the heck he's talking about and him and Ford have these hilarious conversations. And after they got up to the stands in the at the cricket game, they saw in the paper it was actually so far in the future that it was 2 days away from when the earth gets destroyed. Then, another classic Ford. Although this time it wasn't to get out of an impossible situation. It was Somebody Else's Problem. This is something your brain doesn't want you to see because it thinks it's, well, somebody else's problem, and the only way to see it is to know what it is. And well that's all I read. Have fun realizing that after reading this gigantic blog post that you've just took up about 30 minutes doing so. Now until next time, LOOK IT'S SOMETHING MAGICAL TO GET ME OUT OF THIS HOMEWORK SITUATION! poof I'm gone.
